Library Workshops

Hi everybody. The library at the GC is offering some great workshops in February.

  • Introduction to Library Resources (2/3 @ 1-2pm and 2/11 @ 4:15-5:15pm)
  • Introduction to Grants Resources and Grant Writing (2/11 @ 3-5pm)
  • Introduction to Zotero for Citation Management (2/17 @ 2-3:30pm and 2/18 @ 6:30-8pm)
  • Queering the Map: Theoretical Reflections on Spatial Methods for Action Research (2/19 @ 12-2pm, organized by the Futures Initiative and co-sponsored by the Library)
  • Digital Tools for Managing Your Research (2/24 @ 6:30-8pm)
  • Introduction to SPSS (2/25 @ 6:30-7:30pm)

Take a look at the link below for more information. Some of these workshops will be very helpful for your work in this course–and in the MALS program in general. If you get really good at research techniques it will save you a lot of time and make  your life easier.

Welcome

This site will be the online home for our course. You will find our course readings, calendar, and requirements here. Each week, half the students in the course will post discussion questions about assigned readings to our course blog; the other half will post responses to these questions. You will also find links to online lectures, podcasts, websites, and other related materials here.

Take a look around the site. It contains all the material from the syllabus (and more). Let me know if you have any questions.
